A life-long resident of Ottawa, Canada, I left the corporate high tech world in 2015 to become a stay-at-home dad and to write fiction (Young Adult, Thriller, Science Fiction).
During 2015-2018, I published Altered Genes, a science fiction thriller series that did reasonably well on Amazon and GooglePlay. Then I lost my way for a couple of years as I tried to figure out how to write more / better / faster. Still haven’t figured that out, but I’ve recently got back into writing.
Like many writers, I dream of writing the ‘best seller’ but honestly I don’t have any delusions about achieving that goal. If every book I write is better than the last one and readers enjoy it and I can make some money writing, that’s good enough for me.
I have a bit of an obsessive compulsive personality which helps and hurts in my writing process. Typically, I write slowly and agonize over ever word. I also jump around from genre to genre and from short form fiction to long form fiction.
My 2-year goal is go be generate a semi-stable revenue stream from my writing (both serials and stand-alone novels.)
